Estate and lettings agent completes move

AFTER approximately six months of refurbishment work on its new offices, Shields Estate Agents has completed its move across Town.

The estate agent and its letting and property management business, Rutland Property Management, had previously been based in South Esplanade, but yesterday marked its first day in operation at 31-32 Glategny Esplanade, the former Rowan Tree cafe, which it bought from the National Trust of Guernsey in January.

Shaun Gourley, chief executive of Shields Estate Agents and Rutland Property Management, said it was an important step for the business.

'Since buying both Shields and Rutland in 2008 it has been part of the business plan to secure our own freehold.

'To realise this ahead of schedule is an amazing feeling and something as a company we are very proud of.'
