GUERNSEY FC have made their youngest signing yet as teenage goalkeeper James Hamon has joined the Green Lions' ranks.

The 16-year-old could now make his senior debut in tomorrow's away friendly against Horley, having been unable to play at the top level last season because of his age.

But he was man of the match in the U18 Muratti defeat against Jersey in April, while he also impressed against Northern Ireland's equivalent age group in a friendly.

Hamon is the son of former Muratti and Vale Rec goalkeeper Chris, while the youngster has been under the tutelage of Chris Tardif in recent months.
