Guernsey Gas uses new vans to spell out range of business

GUERNSEY GAS has taken its Go Greener message mobile by incorporating it on its latest vehicles.

Services manager designate Paul Torode said it was the first time the company had included any livery apart from its logos on the vans.

He is set to take over as services manager in December when John Morgan retires. He said it was important to get the message out there that the company was now much more than just a business that sells gas.

'We've started to look into energy savings and renewables,' said Mr Torode. 'It's something we've been pushing since the start of the year. People certainly like to enquire about it – how many people take it on will be a bit of a progression, but businesses definitely are.'
