Applications to the Environment Department, as published in the Guernsey Press.

CASTEL

Mr and Mrs S. Graham – install timber gates at north and south entrances of property at La Rocque, Rue des Hougues.

Mr and Mrs R. Ridout – erect a sun lounge (west elevation) at L'Etoile du Matin, Rue du Dos d'Ane.

Mr and Mrs A. Mackay – remove existing dormer window and erect porch (east elevation), demolish existing conservatory and erect replacement extension, remove pitched roofs and install flat roofs to existing dormers and balconies (west elevation). Block up existing door (south elevation) at Atlantica, Mares es Litres, La Rocquette.

Mr and Mrs J. Newsom – remove existing shed at side (west) and erect stable block and garage with retaining wall at side, extend existing driveway entrance walls, reposition pillars and install electrically-operated timber gates at Lynfield Cottage, Rue du Preel.

Mr and Mrs B. Murphy – install entrance gates to include wall and pillars and the removal of hedge and trees at Caranella Lodge, Rue de la Foire.

Mr and Mrs B. Murphy – erect a porch (south elevation), install two rooflights, doors, windows and a breakfast terrace (east elevation) and a BBQ enclosure at Caranella Lodge, Rue de la Foire.

Mr and Mrs N. Jeffreys – extend and alter dwelling to rear (south) elevation. Demolish existing and erect replacement wall to rear, extend domestic curtilage and remove five trees at Hillcrest, Rue des Deslisles.

Mr and Mrs Cave – enlarge two existing windows at La Racouogn, 8, Clos Saumarez, Rue Cohu.

FOREST

Public Services Department – airport pavements rehabilitation and associated works, installation of airport equipment, drainage and lighting. Provide four temporary compounds for the storage and processing of materials, storage of equipment, ancillary offices and facilities associated with the construction processes including three compounds located outside the airport boundary on land to the south of Rue des Landes (southside compound), to the south-west of La Villiaze Road (northside compound) and to the north of Forest Road and west of the existing water tower and reservoir (water tower compound). Permanently close La Mare Road to the west of the airport perimeter (EIA Application) at Guernsey Airport, Rue des Landes.

ST ANDREW'S

Mr S. Sarre – convert and alter existing dower unit to separate residential unit and formation of new vehicular access at Entre Nous, Bailiff's Cross Road.

Mr and Mrs G. Williams – extend dwelling at first floor level on south east side at Holly Tree, La Villiaze Road.

ST MARTIN'S

Mr G. Blondel – variations to works previously approved to extend and alter dwelling – alter windows, remove windows and doors and infill and demolish chimney stack at Petite Gouvanniere, Les Merriennes.

Mr and Mrs P. Symons – erect a fence along right of way from Route de Jerbourg to Petit Port at Chant de Mer, Jerbourg Road.

Mr P. Briginshaw – demolish existing and erect replacement greenhouse at Feremina, Fermain Lane.

ST PETER PORT

Mr and Mrs M. Grogan – install chimney at Hope Cottage, Grand Bouet.

Mrs D. Hutchinson – remove hedge to front of property at Prospect House, St Julian's Avenue.

Mr and Mrs Wood – demolish existing attached garage at side of dwelling (east elevation), install timber gate and render roadside wall (Protected Building) at Petit Combin, St Jacques.

Mrs P. Le Cocq – raise ridge height and install rooflights at Loreto, Collings Road.

Wave Telecom – replace windows on front and side elevations (Protected Building) at 24, High Street.

Wave Telecom – install external air conditioning unit (Protected Building) at 24, High Street.

Mr and Mrs N. Fernandes – erect sun lounge at rear (east) with two rooflights at 3, Monterey, Valnord Hill.

Mr and Mrs A. Newman – variations to works previously approved, extend dwelling at ground and first floor level to the rear – changes to windows on north and west sides at Garde La Foi, Belmont Road.

Mr and Mrs S. Steele – raise ridge height, extend and alter existing garage to create a garden room/studio with proposed terrace at first floor level at Lyndhurst, De Beauvoir.

Mr and Mrs J. Messenger – demolish existing dwelling and erect replacement dwelling (revised) at Cliffe House, Village de Putron.

Mr and Mrs J. Armstrong – enlarge first floor window to rear elevation at La Forge, Ruette Irwin, Fort George.

Guernsey Yacht Club – variations to works previously approved – erect external staircase and reposition door on side, reposition cellar access door on front, reduce the projection of extension and install plant equipment in the roof area at The Guernsey Yacht Club, Castle Emplacement, St Peter Port.

ST PETER'S

Mr and Mrs S. Page – install gates and fencing at Le Grais, Route des Sages.

Mrs M. Duff – extend dwelling on south west elevation to create additional accommodation for holiday apartment at Les Vinaires Barn, Ruette des Hougues Falles.

ST SAMPSON'S

Oatlands Holdings Ltd – erect infill extension to provide two shops with manager's office above at Oatlands, Le Gigands.

Mr K. Le Billon – subdivide existing dwelling into three flats and install two dormer windows to both front and back at Zanton, Route Carre.

ST SAVIOUR'S

St Saviour Community Centre LBG – change of use from school (Public Amenity Use Class 25) to community centre (Public Amenity Use Class 27) and nursery (Public Amenity Use Class 24(b) (Phase 1) and alterations to create overspill car parking area, remove chimney and alter doors at Mont Varouf School, Le Neuf Chemin.

Mr and Mrs B. Martel – convert garage into habitable accommodation and alter fenestration at Les Jaonnets Farm, Rue des Boulains.

VALE

Stan Brouard Ltd – amend condition six of P.A. No. FULL/2009/1920 to allow use of part of building for storage and distribution of flowers/plants and greeting cards at Stan Brouard Ltd, Landes du Marche.

Seaside Apartments Ltd – extend apartments at ground and first floor level on north and south elevations at Seaside Apartments, Les Dicqs.

It is requested that anyone wishing to make representations about a particular application should submit them in writing to the Environment Department, at the address given below, within seven days of the publication of the above list.

However, if also advertised by site notice, the timescale for making representations will be 21 days from the first display of the site notice.

Applications are normally published in the Guernsey Press shortly after they are received as valid and this might appear before the site notice is erected.

Minor applications may not be included as part of this list. However, a complete register containing details of all applications received is available for inspection by the general public at the department's offices at Level 3, Sir Charles Frossard House, La Charroterie, St Peter Port, during the hours of 9am to 5pm, Mondays to Fridays.

Please note that the content of any letters of representation are not treated as confidential by the department and will be disclosed, at their request, to the applicant, once the application has been determined. Representations will also be made available to the planning tribunal in the event of an appeal, and could be considered and discussed at a public tribunal hearing.
