ABN AMRO has become the first bank in Guernsey to achieve the Investors in People gold standard.

The Investors in People award scheme, which was reworked in 2009 to introduce bronze, silver and gold levels, assists and supports businesses of all sizes in achieving improved people management practices and business performance.

Using interviews and assessments, IIP helps organisations with their business planning, employee engagement and management effectiveness, evaluating what is working and what needs further improvement.

ABN Amro's assessment saw it meet 188 evidence requirements out of a possible 196.
