Wear and tear starting to show among island's elite

THE island's top players are sooner or later going to have to make a choice between Guernsey FC and their clubs.

That is according to GFC club captain and St Martin's midfielder Matt Warren, who is currently in joint control of the Blanche Pierre Lane side with Ben Coulter.

Warren is sidelined until January with tendonitis in both Achilles', one of a growing number of GFC players on the treatment table, which has now reached double figures.

The majority of those are from St Martin's and North, who are both in Priaulx League action tonight, hosting Rangers and Vale Rec respectively.
