Education board 'hasn't been properly briefed for years'

Deputy Matt Fallaize (pictured) said he had learnt much from the meeting.
'I don't think the board has been adequately briefed, not just on this issue – standards and performance – but on a range of issues over the past three-and-a-half years.
'I know that previous boards met with them every year where we haven't been given that opportunity.
'They were able to advise us of a whole range of information which should have been made available to us, not only over the last few weeks but the last few years,' he said.
