FOUR ministers have questioned the continued role of the director of education within the department.
Derek Neale, pictured, announced ahead of the publication of the Mulkerrin review, which identified multiple failings in Education, that he would in February move to a role overseeing school rebuilding projects.
But while the fall-out from the report has seen the minister's head roll, the director has remained in his position and unavailable for comment.
Now four ministers have echoed public calls for his removal: Home minister Geoff Mahy, Social Security minister Mark Dorey, deputy chief minister Bernard Flouquet and Housing minister Dave Jones.
