Cobo petrol station to reopen

THE former Maryland Service Station has been sold and will reopen.

Kerry Moon, currently the manager of Vale Service Station, said he would manage what will be known as Cobo Service Station.

The Cobo business had operated for some 70 years but closed in April last year.

Mark Nightingale director of Boatworks+, which took over the business eight years ago, said at the time it was with considerable regret that the board of directors had taken the difficult decision to close Maryland.
