THOUSANDS of air passengers have had travel plans disrupted over the past two days because of thick fog – with the risk of more to come today.
Passengers spoke yesterday of their frustration as their plans for the weekend were ruined.
Airport director Colin Le Ray said the disruption would continue this morning, but a slight improvement was anticipated later.
'There is a little clearance in the afternoon so it might mean flights will go.
'But there will still be some disruptions – perhaps continuing into Sunday as well. '
