A GCSE student will be balancing his revision with raising three orphaned lambs in his bedroom after one of his ewes died.

Stefan Yerby, 15, has kept his own flock of sheep for the past two years, but that comes with a lot of responsibilities.

The Elizabeth College student will spend the next two weeks feeding the newborn lambs every four hours.

He admitted it would be a challenge, especially as he is due to take his GCSEs in just a few months' time, but he said he was determined.

Stefan spotted that the ewe, who was pregnant with triplets, had a prolapsed uterus on Friday. Despite trying to help her, she suddenly haemorrhaged on Wednesday.
