A DRUG user who had a large stash of mephedrone did not intend to supply it, the Royal Court has found.

Steven Beausire was found not guilty unanimously of two charges of possessing the Class B drug with intent to supply.

He had denied the charges, stating that he had stockpiled the drug for his own use, as he knew it was going to be made illegal.

He admitted two alternative counts of possession and was granted bail to a date in April when he will be sentenced for these offences.
