THE Guernsey Court of Appeal has a new judge.

Jonathan Crow, QC, was sworn in at a full sitting of the Royal Court.

He has sat as a Deputy High Court Judge since 2001 and, in 2006, was appointed Attorney-General to the Prince of Wales.

Deputy Bailiff Richard Collas said Mr Crow had often been praised by the judges of the highest courts for the quality of his advocacy and legal analysis, and he was highly regarded among commentators in the legal press.
