In the Magistrate's Court yesterday, Daniel Clarke was sent to prison for 17 months for offences including using threatening behaviour towards police, playing loud and offensive music and criminal damage. He admitted all counts.
Advocate Liam Roffey said his client, who had significant personal and mental health difficulties, lost perception of what was going on and now realised the level of distress he had caused.
Judge Philip Robey said the defendant had a very poor record and noted that he had served seven custodial sentences in the past.
