BUILDING work at Les Beaucamps is back on track for the new school to be opened in September.

Education previously announced a delay until the October half-term after a pre-cast concrete floor slab collapsed and main contractor

R. G. Falla Ltd decided to remove all the existing slabs and replace them with new ones from a different supplier.

But now the board has confirmed that the term will start on Monday 3 September for staff.

Pupils will have three days, 4 to 6 September, as additional holiday to allow the staff to be fully trained in procedures such as fire safety, break-time supervision, and transport arrangements.
