Teenager's 'Virgin Voter' election blog aims to attract the youth vote

A FIRST-TIME voter has created an online blog to detail his experiences in the build-up to next month's general election.

Paul Kirby, 17, created Paul's Election, The Teenage Virgin Voter on Thursday and said that it already had 207 hits by Friday morning.

By this morning, that had risen to 580.

'I set it up to give an insight into what I am going through as I have never voted before,' he said.

'I am still getting my head round stuff and hope this will help me to understand.'
