Queen is on our side, Seigneur tells Today

SARK'S Seigneur Michael Beaumont told BBC radio's flagship morning news programme that he believed the Queen wanted to intervene in the island's ongoing fight with the Barclay family, but could not do so constitutionally.
Guernsey-raised journalist Sarah Montague is a presenter on The Today Programme and yesterday morning ran a 13-minute segment on the long-running feud between the Sark establishment and Sir David and Sir Frederick Barclay – and their representatives.
She said many islanders told her they felt Sark's recent democracy was under threat, with many residents feeling bullied and intimidated by the Sark Newsletter.
Kevin Delaney, managing director of Sark Estate Management, which is Sir David and Sir Frederick's investment company in the island, publishes the newsletter.
Both Mr Delaney and Sir David and Sir Frederick declined to be interviewed for the programme, but Ms Montague said she had been told by their lawyer that the brothers did not publish the newsletter – it was Mr Delaney and him alone.
