HMV fulfilment centre 'difficult to rent again'

HMV'S States-owned warehouse will be difficult to rent again, estate agents have warned.

Poor access to the Guelles Road site and a lack of flexibility in the building would put off future tenants, they said.

The States-built property has 48,000sq ft of space and was purpose-designed for Guernsey Post in the 1980s.

Lovells Property managing director Chris Lovell believed that it would be a challenge for the States to rent the property again.
