Nothing like good vibrations for power station neighbours

A MARRIED couple living next to the power station fear that they will never be able to sell their house because of the noise and vibrations coming from the plant.

Peter and Donna Marshall moved to their five-bedroom home in La Hure Mare Road, Vale, six years ago.

They said it was the worst thing that they had ever done.

'We didn't buy this house - we swapped it with a friend,' said Mrs Marshall, 57.

In its accounts, Guernsey Electricity said it was looking at a solution.
