THREE crew were injured and about 25 cars damaged in what has been described by passengers as a horrific journey on Condor Express.

Yesterday Condor released details of the Thursday sailing.

At about 5pm, the Express encountered unexpectedly high winds and rough seas north of the Casquets off Alderney.

'The weather, which had not been forecast, meant that passengers and crew on board Condor Express had an uncomfortable journey,' said the company's Guernsey director Ian Milner.

'No passengers were injured, although three crew members suffered minor injuries, though none required hospital treatment, and about 25 cars sustained damage to their bodywork.'
