Students relish their technology challenge

MAKING a trebuchet and a device that makes an audible sound were two tests set for the students taking part in the 14th CGi Sure Technology Challenge.

MAKING a trebuchet and a device that makes an audible sound were two tests set for the students taking part in the 14th CGi Sure Technology Challenge.

Guest judge was Dionne South, who is a producer and web presenter on Channel 5's The Gadget Show.

There were 10 teams of five, made up of Year 9 students from all the secondary schools, Grammar School, Elizabeth and Ladies' Colleges and Le Murier, as well as students from Alderney.

CGi director Larry Granger said it was a great day.

'Each year it gets better,' he said.
