TEMPERAMENTAL weather could not quash the mood in Sark this weekend at the island's third annual folk festival.
Well-prepared festival-goers were swapping wellies for flip-flops as heavy rain and strong winds gave way to beautiful sunshine.
All 1,000 tickets for the event were snapped up in March, making the Sark Folk Festival a sell-out for the third year running.

'We've been all over France, the rest of Europe and Quebec but this island is very different. It's strange, but beautiful.'
Pictures from the festival will appear in Tuesday's Guernsey Press
