GUERNSEY Gas staff who are facing the threat of redundancy have claimed the company is treating employees disgracefully as it moves through the process.
But while the company acknowledged it was a difficult time for them, it encouraged any one with concerns to engage with it through the ongoing consultation process.
Several unhappy employees have contacted the Guernsey Press recently to express anger and frustration.
They claimed workers were being kept in the dark, with one suggesting that Guernsey Gas' policy was 'if we treat people badly enough they will leave the company therefore they do not have to pay redundancy'.
Guernsey Gas issued a statement to address some of the criticisms raised by staff.
