PARENTS of St Sampson's Infant School pupils are disappointed that Education is to again consider closing primary schools.

But they also acknowledged that it was inevitable as the department comes under increasing pressure to cut costs.

In a response to Denis Mulkerrin's review of the primary sector, the Education Department said it would consider rationalisation. And although it has not mentioned individual schools, some parents and grandparents believe St Sampson's Infants will again be a target.
