A CAMPAIGNER against proposals to turn a site at Oatlands into an equestrian centre has claimed her property could have up to £70,000 knocked off its value if the plans are given the green light.

Sarah Flouquet, who has organised a petition, said she has spoken to estate agents and claimed houses which back onto the proposed centre risked having that much wiped off their value.

She said she had been shocked by how sharply the price of her house could fall if the development went ahead.

When the Guernsey Press spoke to local estate agents they were less clear about the impact on prices.
