SURE has launched a new broadband service aimed at high user households and businesses.

Sure Superfast Broadband, which offers download speeds of up to 40Mb/s, will be offered alongside the company's standard service, which has an up to 16Mb/s download speed and upload speeds of up to 2Mb/s.

It will cost £34.99 a month.

The company said that the new service could not be received as part of its standard £24.99 per month package, which remains available, because it was using new technology.

  • Initially, Sure Superfast Broadband will be available to around 75% of properties across the Bailiwick that are within two kilometres of an exchange or MSan box and customers who are closer will have higher download speeds. Sure plans to install additional MSan cabinets around the island in the coming months, with the aim of making Superfast Broadband accessible to all Bailiwick properties.
