A LES Beaucamps High success story and 'exceptional' maths student thanked her teacher there and at the Sixth Form Centre as she headed off to university.

Sophie Robilliard, pictured, attained an A* in GCSE maths before moving to the Sixth Form Centre to take her A-levels, passing maths and further maths with A grades.

She completed the A-level subjects, both of which were two-year courses, in one year each.

She was accepted to study maths at Exeter University and is already considering a master's degree.

Her former maths teacher, Jane Allen, had never seen a student like Miss Robilliard in her 34 years at Les Beaucamps.
