PARENTS walking their children to St Andrew's Primary School are concerned for their safety as overhanging brambles and bushes are forcing them to walk extremely close to passing cars.
Mum-of-three Kerry Sarre spoke on behalf of a number of parents concerned about the overgrown hedges in Rue de la Boullerie.
She complained to the douzaine three weeks ago before pupils started the new term, but now felt frustrated and worried because nothing has been done.
'I thought by calling them early they could have nipped it in the bud and sorted it out before school started.'
St Andrews junior constable Jonathan Barrett said the douzaine was appealing to the owner of this particular area to cut the hedges back.
