Following yesterday's announcement by bus operator CT Plus of a nine-point plan to improve the service it offers, today we'll be looking to see what people think of the plan.

We'll be talking to bus users to get their views of the ideas put forward, which include revising the timetable and using GPS tracking to monitor punctuality.

We'll also be seeking comments from States members on the issue of the investigation into the fraud which saw the States lose £2.6m. It's been revealed that not all of the information revealed by an external audit will be published, and we'll be asking what deputies think of this.

And we'll be digging further into the story that the island is not going to renew its reciprocal health arrangement with the UK, despite Jersey and the Isle of Man renewing theirs.

Guernsey is playing host to the German Ambassador today, who's paying a short visit to the island. During his stay a small group of specially selected local students will be meeting him, and we'll be going along to see how they get on.

Tomorrow's sports pages will be focusing on table tennis, as the National Leagues get under way. There'll be a preview of the coming season, which will see the Guernsey team playing in Division One, and an interview with top player Garry Dodd who will be attempting to make some ripples in the Premier Division.
