FIVE cyclists rode off the ferry on Saturday to cheers from their family and friends after riding 600 miles from Mont Blanc to Guernsey.
The sixth member of the team, Jay Aylmer, 36, suffered a broken collar bone and broken shoulder blade in an accident just 50 miles before the end of the journey, but was there to welcome his teammates back.
The White Mountain to White Rock Challenge began in the Alps nine days ago to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The group of friends completed the challenge at the cafe at the harbour on Saturday. Mr Aylmer was there, with his bandaged arm.
