BEING acknowledged by some of the golfers at the Ryder Cup was one of the highlights for Guernseyman Ben Le Huray, who was dressed in Union Jack trousers and a golf green hat.
The former Guernsey Rugby Club player flew to America with two friends to watch the contest that saw Europe grab a historic 14.5-13.5 victory.
The trio's striking outfits even got them national attention, as they appeared in the Daily Mirror as well as on BBC Sport and Sky Sport's home pages.
Mr Le Huray, 33, said the response from fellow spectators was 'insane'.
