Herm has won a gold award in this year's Britain in Bloom competition.
The island earned its accolade in the 'coastal, up to 12k' category at the awards, which are organised by the Royal Horticultural Society.
And it was also joint winner of the Tourism Award, presented ot hte finalist that demonstrates the most effective use of its 'in bloom' initiatives to attract visitors.
The awards were presented this evening at a ceremony at Beau Sejour by BBC TV presenter Matt Baker.
Lesley Bailey, chair of Herm in Bloom committee, said: 'It's the end of 12 months hard work which the whole community of Herm have helped towards.'
