DOUBTS for the future of Guernsey's biggest music festival have emerged after the organisers allegedly failed to pay all their debts.
Now, those behind the Guernsey Festival are being sued for more than £18,000.
Sidlocks of Guernsey Ltd is actioning Guernsey Festivals Ltd and Jonathan Stephen for unpaid catering equipment and installation services.
For Sidlocks, Advocate Robert Fullman told the Ordinary Division of the Royal Court that he believed Mr Stephen had left the island.
The court application was to substitute service within the jurisdiction through the office of HM Sergeant on Mr Stephen's brother, Paul Stephen, at Flat 5, Brazil House, 36, Pedvin Street, St Peter Port.
Deputy Bailiff Richard McMahon granted the application.
