STUDENTS at St Sampson's High School had their say as they voted for new school council members yesterday.
Polling stations were set up in the hall with ballot boxes on display for the students to place their votes.
In total, two from each of the year groups will be selected to sit on the council, head of citizenship Chris Nicolle said.
'We held our first election last year and it was very successful.'
Mr Nicolle said a number of the students who were standing had written their own manifestos and pupils had been learning about the voting process.
