A SYNDICATE from the Guernsey Border Agency has won the top prize in the Les Bourgs Hospice Million Pound Lottery draw.

A large crowd gathered to watch the winning balls being drawn in Market Square on Saturday afternoon, but none of them came forward to claim the five prizes.

However, it was confirmed yesterday that the winners of the top £1m. prize had been found, but the group from the GBA was not ready to comment yesterday.

The syndicate of 20, which includes officials and administration staff, are understood to have won between £33,000 and £66,000 each.

Organiser Jack Honeybill has also been in contact with the winners of the £50,000 and £10,000 prizes – which are both syndicates – and the individual ticket owner of the £25,000-winning ticket. He hoped to speak to the winners of £15,000 today, which is also a syndicate.
