As criticism of the Health and Social Services Department's cutbacks continues, we'll be looking in greater detail at the effects of its ward closures at the PEH.

We'll be talking to relatives and carers of the patients of those affected, as well as keeping abreast of the general criticisms that are being levelled at the department.

We're down at Guernsey Post's headquarters this morning, looking at how they are coping with the increasing amount of mail as Christmas looms nearer. And with today being 'Internet Monday', traditionally the day when the most money is spent ordering goods online, we'll be seeing how they plan to deal with becoming even busier in the days to come.

We'll be finding out more about a new mental health charity which has been established to help those with depression, anxiety and phobias when we meet the founders of the group later today.

The Blanchelande School choir will be singing for the Alzheimer's Society at the Professor Saint Community Centre in St Martin's today, and we'll be going along too.

Members of the States will be attending a meeting of the States Assembly and Constitution Committee today. We've not been given a copy of the agenda, but will be there to find out what's been discussed and perhaps grab a word with some of those attending.

Following last week's decision by the States, new image rights legislation has come into effect today with the opening of the new registry. We'll be finding out if any celebrities have moved swiftly to take advantage of this new law to control usage of their identity and images.

Tomorrow's sports pages will include a look back at the weekend's match between Guernsey FC and Windsor at Footes Lane, which featured a particularly impressive goal from one of the visiting team.

There'll be a report on a volleyball final which takes place tonight, and more news on how the efforts to save sand racing are progressing.
