CFE Students of the Year shocked to receive awards

INSPIRING and hardworking students were recognised for their efforts in courses at the College of Further Education.

Students from administration courses were yesterday awarded certificates during a special presentation evening at the Princess Royal Centre for the Performing Arts.

Three female students were then given trophies for being named Student of the Year for Level 1 and Level 2 administration and the 10-week Pathways admin course.

Amy Eborall, 18, was the winner of the Level 2 award, the Level 1 award was presented to 17-year-old Claire Le Cras, who was also named Student of the Year, and the winner of the Pathways award was Debbie Bowden, 52.
