EDUCATION has apologised to concerned parents for leaving them in the dark over plans to appoint a joint head of Forest Primary and Le Rondin.
The media was not allowed into last night's meeting where department officials were quizzed about the appointment of Paula Sullivan – the current head of Le Rondin – to the 'executive' position for a two-year interim period.
She will take up the role following the retirement of Forest head Gary Le Huray in the summer.
And Parent Teacher Association chairman Alan Chapman would not comment on what was said during the two-hour grilling.
