The Guernsey Museum and Art Gallery held its first interactive 'Mini Muses' class yesterday as part of a new initiative aimed at introducing children up to the age of five to the museum.
The weekly half-hour Tuesday sessions will include art, song and practical activities.
Those attending the first session learned a new song about a penguin and took part in a quiz based on the wildlife photography exhibition at the Candie Garden gallery.
Normal admission for the museum and art gallery applies for the sessions. However, the museum has just launched a Discovery Pass, which is £15 per adult for unlimited access for the year. Admission for accompanying children is free. Due to limited space, sessions must be booked by calling 726518.
