ISLANDERS went crazy for Red Nose Day yesterday, with different schools and businesses raising money with weird and wonderful ideas for Comic Relief.

From cake sales to fancy dress, people got involved in the annual charity event with the intention to 'do something funny for money'.

Cheers could be heard from Elizabeth College as a number of students, plus head teacher George Hartley, attempted to break world records.
