Islanders will have their chance to let bus operators CT Plus know what they think of the company's new bus timetable plans tonight.

A public meeting is being held at Hautes Capelles School at 6.30 this evening, and we'll be there too to report on the issues raised and gauge the response.

There's a meeting to discuss renewable energy in Jersey today. The conference is being attended by representatives from Jersey, Guernsey, Sark and Alderney and among its aims is to discuss how the islands can work together. We'll be receiving a report later today for publication tomorrow.

The deputy chief executive officer of the States of Guernsey is giving a speech at lunchtime today. Nigel Lewis is addressing a Chamber of Commerce lunch, and we'll also be there to hear what he has to say.

St Andrew's School is staging a recycling initiative today and we'll be reporting on how this subject is being presented to the youngsters.

Despite last week's blizzard, there are signs that Spring is on its way, and we'll be catching up with the latest clutch of lambs to arrive on a Guernsey farm, with one ewe proving particularly productive.

We'll also be looking for more information about a reported attempted break-in at a home in Havilland Road at the weekend and following up the story of someone being hit by a car in the North Beach car park.

Guernsey FC is back in action tomorrow night, and the sports pages will include a preview of the Green Lions' away match against Epsom and Ewell, who are currently second in the league.

There'll also be a report on the weekend's English Schools Cross-County, at which local girl Katie Rowe put in a good performance.

And we'll have the first of this year's Fantasy Formula 1 standings, which have seen well over 700 racing fans entering teams.
