Union Street Stores has been robbed, police have confirmed.

Union Street Stores has been robbed, police have confirmed.

At about 2.50pm today, a man entered the shop and grabbed the till. He ran off down the road. Police have since recovered the till.

The suspect is described as being a white male in his 20s, about 6ft tall wearing a light blue sports type jacket.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police control room on 725111 or Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
