A report on the accessibility to disabled people of shops, businesses, restaurants and other premises in Guernsey will be the focus of a presentation taking place tonight.

The public meeting at the St Martin's Community Centre will see the DisabledGo group present the findings of their research, which was commissioned by the States. The meeting starts at 7pm and we'll have a report in tomorrow's Press.

Guernsey is back on television tonight, as BBC 2's Coast programme is due to feature a report on the Occupation and how it affected the island. We'll be finding out what people think of the coverage and writing a report for tomorrow.

Following concerns from the Forest Douzaine that the bitumen spill at Lagan's southern compound was worse than reported we're expecting to hear from Lagan today with their comments.

We're catching up on the progress of work on the drains in Fountain Street as well as visiting Vale Junior school where work is being carried out to remove trees that were victims of the recent blizzard.

We'll also be talking to health and safety experts about the risks of carbon monoxide exposure to motor boat users, following the death of a woman and girl in the Lake District which is believed to have been caused by the gas.

Tomorrow's sports pages will have reports on two important league matches tonight.

Vale Rec are taking on St Martin's in the Priaulx League, and only a victory for the Rec will ensure they remain in the title race. Defeat will mean that league leaders Bels cannot be caught. The match is at the Corbet Field and kicks off at 7.30.

And the Specsavers' netball league could also be decided tonight, following the match between Nerine A and Resolution IT. The victor's position at the top of the league would make them pretty much unassailable.

There'll also be news of the first of Guernsey FC's triple header weekends, as the Green Lions face three matches in three days, starting on Friday night.
