Guernsey Police have named the man killed while riding a bicycle at Salerie Corner this morning as David Allison, 59.

Guernsey Police have named the man killed while riding a bicycle at Salerie Corner this morning as David Allison, 59.
The collision, between the cyclist and a lorry, occurred just after 8.30.
The road was closed and motorists were urged to avoid the area.
Police said it appeared as if the blue lorry involved was travelling along St George's Esplanade towards Town and turned left into the Salerie Corner car park via the entrance immediately adjacent to the QE2 marina slipway.
