We'll be returning to the story of the fire in a property at Pont Vaillant Estate today, which saw four occupants of the house, including three children, taken to hospital suffering from the effects of smoke inhalation.

We'll be getting in touch with those affected to find out how they are coping after their experience, and also talking to the Fire and Rescue Service to find out more about what might have caused the blaze.

Public sector workers are due to go to a tribunal on Wednesday at which their objections to a proposed pay freeze this year will be aired. We're finding out more about the proceedings today for a look ahead to the meeting in tomorrow's Press.

We're also expecting a statement from Education about the problems of primary and infant school placements, and additional criticism of the process is also likely to make the paper tomorrow.

The verdict in the trial of two men accused of assault is expected today, we'll also be getting comments from Living Streets about the use of its walking route to the Baubigny Schools, and we expect to find out the number of deputies who will be taking their controversial pay rise this year.

Young Guernsey golfer Aimee Ponte played among international players in the Scottish Open at the weekend, and tomorrow's sports pages feature a report on how she got on.

There'll also be a look at how a large contingent of Guernsey rugby players helped Hampshire to victory over Middlesex in a county game.
