Perfect 10 for Dancefloor Challenge winner Karen

TANNING centre owner Karen Michel has been crowned overall winner of this year's Sarnia Estate Agents Dancefloor Challenge.

A range of 10 local celebrities, including police chief Patrick Rice and Fusion nightclub owner Adam Burroughs, performed at Beau Sejour on Friday and Saturday night as part of the charity dancing competition.

Tropical Sun owner Karen Michel, 43, scored perfect 10s for her Viennese Waltz on Saturday night with dance partner Joe Mauger, 23, and that was enough to win them the overall competition for both nights.

'I'm elated,' she said. 'It went better than the plan. It has been fantastic.'

This was the third time Mr Mauger has taken part in the competition, but the first time he has won.
