The States holds its May meeting today, which will include members discussing whether Deputy Mike Hadley should be officially reprimanded for breaching the Code of Conduct and releasing a confidential report about the Accident and Emergency department at the PEH.

The States holds its May meeting today, which will include members discussing whether Deputy Mike Hadley should be officially reprimanded for breaching the Code of Conduct and releasing a confidential report about the Accident and Emergency department at the PEH.

The meeting opens with statements and questions, and among the statements will be two from Treasury and Resources minister Gavin St Pier, one giving an update on the Financial Transformation Programme, while the other relates to electricity cable connectivity.

And Environment minister Roger Domaille is due to give a statement on the situation concerning the bus service operated by CT Plus.

We'll be in the States all day and will have summaries of the statements and discussions tomorrow.

Later today the States Public Accounts Committee will be releasing a report by Ernst and Young into the fraud which saw the States lose £2.4m. to a fraudster posing as airport contractor Lagan Construction. We'll be getting hold of the report and will have a story in tomorrow's paper.

Today sees a visit to the island by French authorities, who will be meeting the harbour authorities to discuss co-operation between the two bodies on maritime matters, and we'll be finding out how the talks have gone.

This evening St Sampson's parishioners have a chance to discuss the future of recycling in the parish, when the parish meeting takes place at St Sampson's High School. It starts at 7.30 and we'll have a report in tomorrow's Press.

Heather Watson should be on court in Paris soon, as her delayed first round match in the French Open gets under way. There'll be a report on the match in tomorrow's sports section.

Today see's the semi-final of the Women's Open Golf Championship at La Grande Mare, while at L'Ancresse it's the final of the Hampshire Seven's men's competition. There'll be reports on both events in tomorrow's paper.

There'll also be a summary of how Elizabeth College got on against the MCC team today, as well as the latest Fantasy Formula 1 league standings.
