CRICKET and celebrities will mix again as the Lord's Taverners' cricket weekend returns to Herm a week on Sunday.
The centrepiece of its annual fundraising campaign, the weekend's events culminate with the Herm celebrity cricket match and was, according to event chairman Micky Robert, not to be missed.
'There are 403 people going across for lunch. We have huge marquees, other tents for the public, a refreshment tent, lobster lunch and the now famous Lord's Taverners auction.'
Among the prizes is a trip to New York to Trump Towers, a weekend break in London to have lunch with the Queens's jeweller and use of a villa in Portugal.
Prior to the cricket, a number of drinks receptions will take place in several locations in Guernsey and push total attendees to nearly 700.
