ENEMIES were captured on island headlands by young cadets during an outdoor training exercise yesterday morning.
Members of the Guernsey Army Cadet Force headed to Fort Le Marchant for the 'platoon attack' in front of prospective new recruits.
Detachment commander 2nd Lt Wendy Ayres said that youngsters could gain vital life skills by joining the group.
She said these kinds of exercises also acted as 'work experience' for anyone interested in a military career.
'They can make loads of new friends and have loads of fun trying new things,' she said.
