We'll be getting reaction to our page one story today on Deputy Peter Gillson (pictured) questioning why Policy Council failed to reveal an estimated £1m. in redundancy payoffs when releasing figures for its 51 'financial settlements' with former employees.

We're also following up our story on a lifeboat rescue of a vessel drifting 40 miles west of Guernsey with eight passengers on board last night. The St Peter Port lifeboat Spirit of Guernsey launched at 8.30pm and had towed the 45ft Barnabas back to safety by 4.27am.

Today we also look at another of Planning's proposed 'local centres' currently being consulted on. Our latest story looks at the Longstore area.

Also today we'll be following up reaction to Aurigny's new jet and hopes that the aircraft will put the taxpayer-owned airline into profit as the sole operator of the Guernsey-Gatwick route when Flybe pulls out in April.

Tomorrow's sports pages will have team news from GFC ahead of their first level-four game at home against Horsham tomorrow night.
